On behalf of the Editorial Committee of the Japanese Journal of Infectious Diseases (JJID), I am pleased to announce that the online archive of the Japanese Medical Journal (JMJ; vol. 1, 1948-vol. 4, 1951) and Japanese Journal of Medical Science and Biology (JJMSB; vol. 5, 1952-vol. 51, 1998), the predecessor journals of JJID, will be released to the public at the website of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), Tokyo.
If you, as the author of an article published in either journal, do not agree to have your article made individually available on the web in electronic format, please kindly inform us of your decision by e-mail (jjid@nih.go.jp) or facsimile (+81-3-5285-1192) by December 31, 2009. If you have any question about this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us. Deletion of your articles from the website will be possible, even after December 31, 2009, upon your request.
